As part of its drive against illegal hoardings from December 1, BBMP has removed illegal hoardings in and around old airport. The places from where illegal hoardings were removed include Indira Nagar, Bommasandra and HAL premises.

About 20 illegal hoardings were removed and Rs 72,000 fine collected from the offenders.

The drive is still going on and it will be intensified from Wednesday.
