TRIBUTE TO BOUGAINVILLEA
The Times of India received a lot of requests from readers to publish a colour photograph of this 87-year-old Bougainvillea at the Anil Kumble Circle, which is in full bloom. Says Justice (retd) Michael F Saldanha: “I have looked after this tree since I came to Bangalore and it brings tears to my eyes when I think of what is likely to happen to this heritage tree.’’ We can only hope that it will get a new life as part of the relocation plan
