BANGALORE: The Ananda Rao Circle flyover loop connecting the Race Course Road was inaugurated on Wednesday. This five-way junction carrys a large amount of traffic, which flows from Majestic to Rangaswamy Circle.

This 33-metre-loop will ease the flow of traffic at this busy juncture. Inaugurating the flyover, Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) Commissioner M K Shankarlinge Gowda assured the commuters that the remaining construction of the underpass on Magadi Road, Ramamurthy Nagar and Outer Ring Road will be completed on time.

‘‘It is one of the busy intersections in the city and thus it was important to complete the loop on time. The final notification for the northern part of the land for completing the Peripheral Ring Road will be done shortly,’’ he said.
