Cricinfo relocates global HQ to Bangalore

Cricket content and entertainment service provider Cricinfo announced the opening of its new global headquarters in Bangalore.

Cricinfo is part of the US-based Wisden Group. Mr Mark Getty, Director, Wisden Group and co-founder and Chairman, Getty Images, and Mr John Brown, Chairman of the Wisden Group, inaugurated the Bangalore facility.

Several global personnel, including Wisden Group CEO Mr Tom Gleeson, have relocated to India.

"The relocation of Cricinfo's global headquarters to Bangalore is intended to build and grow our presence worldwide across our online, print and mobile platforms," said Mr Getty in a release issued by the company.

Cricinfo's offices in Mumbai and Chennai have now been consolidated at this new facility, which will house under one roof the content, technology, sales and marketing teams.
