Soon names will be all that will be left of these lakes as Bangalore's appetite for real estate swallows them up. The latest ones facing threat of encroachment are the lakes (clockwise from top left) Maga Kere, Shetty Kere, Dore Kere and Gowdanapalya Kere, in Uttarahalli on the outskirts of Bangalore.
