Traffic on Race Course Road, Anand Rao Circle, Sheshadri Ro-ad, Palace Road, Ambedkar Road and adjoining roads are likely to be affected between 9 am and 11 am on Friday following the swearing-in ceremony of new ministers, according to a senior police officer.
Additional traffic police have been deployed in and around Vidhana Soudha to manage the traffic, he said.
Police expect nearly a crowd of 50,000 BJP and JD(S) supporters to participate in the ceremony.
Meanwhile, massive security arrangements have been made for the ceremony, Additional Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) H C Kishore Chandra said.
The ACP said 40 platoons of Karnataka State Reserve Police, 30 Platoons of City Armed Reserve Police will be deployed in the City on Friday.
Six Deputy Commissioners of Police, 12 Assistant Commissioners of Police, 32 Inspectors, 105 Sub Inspectors and 600 Head Constables will be handling the security arrangements, Kishore Chandra added.
