Restrictions on lorries on Bellary Road for three days

BANGALORE: The movement of lorries and other heavy vehicles on Bellary Road has been banned for three days from Friday in view of the Art of Living Foundation programme at Jakkur airfield. Heavy vehicles from the Chikkaballapur side proceeding to Bangalore have to take a left turn at Devanahalli and pass through Soolibele and Hoskote to reach the city. Those from the Chikkaballapur side proceeding to Pune have to take a right turn at Devanhalli, pass through Doddaballapur and Dobbspet, and enter Tumkur Road.

Heavy vehicles from the Hosur side proceeding towards Hyderabad have to take the Outer Ring Road and pass through Ramamurthynagar junction, Thambuchettypalya, Hoskote, Soolebele and Devanahalli.

Those coming to Bangalore from the Doddaballapur side have to pass through Rajanukunte, Puttenahalli, Yelahanka Mother Dairy, BEL Circle and Outer Ring Road. The restriction will be in force from 2 p.m. to 1 a.m. on all three days.
