SHIMOGA: The new government is determined to change the face of Bangalore in the next six months to make it more investor-friendly, said Deputy Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa here on Wednesday.

He said traffic congestion and other problems faced by investors would be solved in a specific period. Asked about some of the investors’ calling off their expansion plans in Karnataka he said the Chief Minister would unveil plans to improve Bangalore.

“We have decided not to allow any other investor to go out of Bangalore,” he added.

“We know 95 percent of the investors are from outside Karnataka. We know our responsibility and work accordingly,” he added.

Asked whether the new Government would convince Narayanamurthy of Infosys to reconsider his participation in Bangalore development, Yediyurappa said, “Being a Kannadiga Narayanamurthy is also interested in developing the capital.”
