These two parts of the city have witnessed commercial and residential development on a large scale. Civic infrastructure and connectivity have played a key role. The localities in these belts are changing by the day with hectic land transactions and real estate projects to suit every need.

Here are some factors that have had a bearing on the development in these two regions of the city:

North
Mekhri Circle grade separator. This project saw the opening up of a bottleneck and renewed interest in areas connected by Bellary Road
