At Horamavu: This project worth Rs 25 crore is 30% complete and is expected to be done by April 2009. Work on the project has been in progress for the past twoand-half months. The underpass has a total covered portion of 45 m. The stretch is 255 m towards Ramamurthynagar and 98 m towards Hebbal.
At Kadrenahalli: This project worth Rs 27 crore is 15% complete and is slated for completion by June 2009. Work on the underpass started two months ago.
At Puttenahalli: This project worth Rs 22 crore is 15% complete. Work on the project started two months ago, and is expected to be complete by June 2009.
Road development
Many road development works have been initiated by the BBMP in the last few months, in various parts of the city. The Bellary Road stretch leading to the international airport has been the prime focus ever since the airport was announced. Work on road-widening and underpasses and subways here is almost complete. What remains is laying of the grade separators and asphalting the entire stretch.
