HIGH SPEED RAIL LINK
The pre-application conference of bidders for the high speed rail link (HSRL) from the city centre to Bengaluru International Airport (BIA) in Devanahalli was held in mid-September. The Karnataka State Industrial Investment and Development Corporation (KSIIDC) was expected to release responses to the pre-application queries by September 22. This was later rescheduled twice, to October 10 and 31. According to KSIIDC, pending approvals from the government have now pushed the date to November 29. The HSRL will start at the city airport terminal proposed on BRV Parade Grounds and pass via stations at Hebbal and Yelahanka before reaching BIA.
