No speed governor, says govt
Bangalore, DHNS:
The State Cabinet on Wednesday decided to withdraw the Government Order of 2005 making installation of speed governors in commercial transport vehicles mandatory.



Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Shobha Karandlaje told reporters that the Cabinet had also decided to consult the State Advocate General on the legal path the government needs to pursue following this decision.
When contacted, the Advocate General told Deccan Herald that the law could be changed.
