BANGALORE: Next time you travel to Delhi by Rajdhani Express, you will find it in a new 'avatar' - vinyl wrapped in Max New York Life brand colours, with high quality flooring, soap and tissue paper dispensers, clean toilets, deodorant toilet flushing systems and automated fragrance dispensers in the compartments.

The upgradation of three Rajdhani trains - Delhi to Bangalore, Delhi to Chennai and Delhi to Trivandrum - has been done by Max New York Life, CTS Management and Peacock Media in partnership with Indian Railways under a PPP model.

Flagging off the first Max New York Life Bangalore to Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express on Thursday, Max New York Life Insurance Zonal Vice President, South, A P S Bhalla, said:

''The upgraded train will provide a new travel experience and in return we will get a greater brand visibility.'' Divisional Railway Manager, Southern Railways, Akhil Aggarwal, said:

''This partnership will not only improve the services in trains but also increase the profitability of the Railways.''
