‘NICE’ news on the controversial Bangalore-Mysore Infrastructure Corridor

Here’s ‘NICE’ news on the controversial Bangalore-Mysore Infrastructure Corridor (BMIC) project.

Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa said the Government will follow the Supreme Court order on the project. However, he said that the Government has not yet handed over the land, as per the SC order.

“When there is a Supreme Court order, nobody can go against it. There is no other option but to simply follow the order,” he stated.

He further said the agreement with the project promoter, Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprise (NICE), was reached long ago, and that the present Government has nothing to do with it.
