BANGALORE: The Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) administrator Dilip Rau inspected Ejipura new extension on Tuesday, after receiving complaints regarding few roads being mettled and the rest ignored.

Rau said that the remaining roads will be tarred after the side drains were constructed. The area is prone to flooding as it lies below the Koramangala valley. Rs 120 crore has been estimated as the cost of construction of side drains and cementing roads. Construction will provide considerable relief to Ejipura residents claims BBMP.

Rau directed the Land Army Corporation to take up the asphalting task. Residents also complained about inadequate water supply and underground drainage problems. He assured that the matter would be taken up by the BWSSB, an official release stated.
