Peripheral stretch complete

Peripheral stretch complete
TIMES NEWS NETWORK

Bangalore: Tired of bumpy rides? The BMIC peripheral road connecting Mysore Road to Kanakapura Road and to Bannerghatta Road offers a smooth alternative.
Barring a minor hiccup at Gottigere (near Bannerghatta), the 7-km stretch connecting Kanakapura Road to Bannerghatta Road has been completed in record time. A cattle underpass, road overand under-bridges inter-connecting the villages on this stretch are well-developed and now open to traffic. Structures like pipe culvert, box culvert, utility pipes, fencing and high grade asphalting are judiciously blended on this road.
The 16-km stretch between Bannerghatta Road and Hosur Road, held up due to technical problems, has been completed.
Another interesting aspect is that once you enter this stretch from Hosur Road, you can experience a world-class 32-km drive till Madavara (Tumkur Road). “We have completed earthworks where land is available for us,’’ a NICE representative said. An interchange bridge on Hosur Road has also been completed in a record seven months.
