It was like death shadowing him!

It was like death shadowing him!
Bangalore, DHNS:
Call it an accident or a play of fate, but despite several safety measures, Ahan accidentally fell down from the fourth floor and died. Camera footage shows Ahans mother was just a few yards away from where he fell.

The Bhandaris had planned to spend their Sunday evening out, watch a movie, relax and unwind, but fate had something else in store. When they left their house on the ill-fated day, little did they know that death was shadowing their son, Ahan.
Call it an accident or a play of fate, but despite several safety measures, Ahan accidentally fell down from the fourth floor and died. Camera footage shows Ahan’s mother was just a few yards away from where he fell.
Srinivasa, who rushed a bleeding Ahan to the hospital, said he was shocked at the apathy of the people around, who did not bother to help the child. “I prayed to God to save the boy, but..,” a distraught Srinivasa signed off.
Ahan’s parents were inconsolable at their loss and refused to talk to the media. It was heart-wrenching to see Ahan’s mother after the doctors declared her child had died at the hospital and refused to believe the news. The boy’s father was also left speechless at this cruel twist of fate.
Hosmat Director Dr Thomas Chandy, who attended to Ahan, told Deccan Herald, “Today is the saddest day of my life. When I attended to the boy, I was not optimistic about saving him, but I prayed for a miracle. Every day, I come across an average of 20-25 head injury cases, but this is one incident that made a great impact on me. It pained me to see a child die in such a fashion.”
“His heart gave out four times and even after we shocked him twice, there was very little response. His condition was very critical from the beginning. We inserted a ‘breathing tube’ and put him on the ventilator. Unfortunately, his brain was dead when he was brought to the hospital. Five specialists battled for two hours and provided the best possible treatment to save Ahan, but our efforts failed,” said the doctor.
Garuda Mall Managing Director B G Uday said they had decided to upgrade security guard system.
Two guards would be pressed into service on each floor. He also said the incident was an accident.
BBMP East zone joint commissioner S N Nagaraj has directed Mr Uday to submit a report regarding the incident.
