PUSH FOR PARKING FACILITY
Sky-kissing parking complexes in cities like Tokyo, Chicago, Bangkok and Paris among many world cities is a runway hit. And the concept will soon be introduced in Bangalore.
In a move to reduce parking woes, masterplan has proposed multi-level parking complexes which does not have an FAR cap. Which means such complexes can go vertical as many number of floors.
This apart there is stilt parking, parking in basement up to five levels, additional car parking beyond prescribed norms without reckoning FAR and relaxation of height limitation to 4.5 mts for normal and stacked parking from 2.75 mts.
