The Karnataka High Court on Tuesday issued notice to the Bangalore Mahanagara Palike, among others, on a petition challenging the construction of a commercial complex in a park in Rajajinagar.

A Division Bench comprising Chief Justice Cyriac Joseph and Justice Ajith Gunjal heard the matter.

A V Amarnath, advocate, said the complex was coming up on the park near Navrang theatre at Rajajinagar. He submitted this was a deliberate ploy by vested interests to usurp prime property.
