Panel to inspect Bellandur lake

Bangalore: There will be an inspection of Bellandur lake by an expert committee headed by environmental expert Yellappa Reddy, on Tuesday.
The inspection comes after a Lok Adalat order saying that an inspection should be held. The entire lake inspection exercise started with a writ petition filed by Bellandur Gram Panchayat in 1998. Except Bellandur lake, other lakes have been looked into.
