The Bannerghatta Road-Kanakapura stretch of the peripheral ring road, a part of the Bangalore Mysore Infrastructure Corridor project, will be open to the public by September-end, revealed Mr Ashok Kheny, Managing Director, Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprise, on Monday.

The complete 41-km peripheral ring road will be ready by December end, Mr Kheny said, at the 100th birthday celebrations of Siddhaganga Mutt seer Dr Shivkumar Swamiji.

SC’s intervention

Mr Kheny said he will seek the Supreme Court’s intervention again as the government is not co-operating with NICE despite a ruling directing them to do so.

“We have paid Rs 151 crore to the government, but it is refusing to release land. We have no option but to go to the Supreme Court again,” he said.
