Volvo buses: Trial run on new routes

The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC), under a pilot project, has introduced the trial run of Volvo buses on Route 201 between Srinagar and Domlur with promotional fares with effect from April 10.

This is being done to assess passengers’ fare preference, a press release from BMTC stated. The route is operated with three Volvo buses running at a frequency of 60 minutes.
