Resident groups can speak out now
Resident groups can speak out now
The Times of India
Bangalore: It’s an occasion for citizen groups, resident welfare associations (RWAs) and neighbourhood watch-bodies to voice their suggestions.
The high court-appointed panel on roads has called for a meeting on April 15 with all RWAs to hear out what citizens have to actually say. So far, the panel has submitted three reports to the high court on the state of city roads. The reports have taken inputs of resident groups.
According to a press note from the expert panel, groups will be given a platform to voice their suggestions on what is required for their ward/area, what is missing, and common problems that can be tackled without running pillar to post.
The interactive meeting will be held at Urban Health Research and Training Institute, 16th Cross, opposite Vaidika Sabha Bhavana, at 11 am.
