Bangalore: The muchawaited Biotechnology Park will become reality as the park will be completed this year-end.

Announcing the launch of Bangalore Bio- 2006, M K Shankaralinge Gowda, Secretary , Department of Information T echnology , Biotechnology , Science and T echnology said the park will come up at Electronic City . It will come up on 104 acres of land.

Kiran Majumdar Shaw , CEO Biocon and Chairperson, Vision Group BT emphasised on clinical research and improvement in the infrastructure. She also said the agro BT and biofuel research also needs to looked at.

Bangalore Bio 2006: The Bangalore Bio 2006 will begin from June 7 with the theme DNA Discover , Nurture and Accelerate . The threeday event will witness participation from 125 exhibitors and 20,000 business visitors from over 15 countries and various states across India.
