Bangalore: The Bangalore Mahanagara Palike removed posters, banners, cut-outs, welcome arches and other publicity materials put up illegally in various wards of the city in a special drive on Wednesday.
Fourteen teams were formed for the purpose and teams began work at 10 pm which lasted till the wee hours of Thursday. Over 1,000 banners, at least 2,000 m of buntings, 406 cut-outs, nine arches and 266 publicity materials were removed.
