The top brass of the City police and the Bangalore Mahanagara Palike on Monday undertook an inspection tour around the City reportedly to study how best to ease the traffic problems especially issues related to parking.

The team included ADGP (Traffic) M N Reddy, City Police Commissioner Ajai Kumar Singh, BMP Commissioner Jothiramalingam and BMP Additional Commissioner Gaurav Gupta among others.

Terming the inspection as just a preliminary exercise, official sources said that areas where parking should be banned and those where parking complexes were essential were assessed.
