Taking exception to BJP leader Ananth Kumar’s allegation that JD(S) leader H D Deve Gowda is obstructing development of Bangalore, the JD(S) has challenged the BJP to participate in a face-to-face discussion on the issue with documents.

In a press release, JD(S) spokesperson Y S V Datta said the party was ready for a debate, with documents, on Gowda’s contribution for the development of Bangalore and the State. The party was also ready to prove with documents that the decisions taken by the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre had affected the development of Karnataka.

Challenge

He challenged Ananth Kumar to participate in the debate and prove his allegations and defend his party. He said instead of making wild allegations to get cheap publicity, Kumar should start a healthy precedent of participating in a face-to-face discussion along with documents.
