IT services giant HCL Technologies, on Tuesday, said it would invest over Rs 450 crore to build service delivery capabilities throughout the country.

“We will invest close to Rs 450 crore over the next two financial years to build three campuses,” said Corporate Vice President (Finance) S L Narayanan.

The company is planning campuses in Noida, Bangalore and Chennai. “Some of the funds for building infrastructure, will come from selling-off some of our real estate,” he said.

Work on HCL Technologies’ campus in Noida, which would cover an area of 46 acres, is progressing fast. “The first phase of the Noida campus will be operational by the end of 2006,” Mr Narayanan said. In Bangalore, the company has acquired 26 acres of land and has begun developing it. “The Bangalore facility will take 30 months for completion,” Mr Narayanan said.
