Police advice against using vehicles

ADVICE FROM POLICE: AVOID VEHICLES

The Bangalore City Police Commissioner has advised the public to use vehicles only if necessary. According to a release on Tuesday, the Commissioner Ajai Kumar Singh has said, following heavy rains in the City since Sunday, majority of roads have been damaged and vehicles are expected to skid. The police have advised public to avoid use of vehicles as much as possible for the next two days. Meanwhile, Traffic on Hosur and Madivala Road is expected to be affected even on Wednesday and the police have advised commuters to avoid Hosur Road. Traffic Police has also cautioned the public by flashing messages through SMS and giving traffic updates on the radio.
