The execution of the work pertaining to Bangalore International Airport project will commence from December 21, Chief Minister N Dharam Singh reiterated on Friday, reports DHNS from Bangalore.

Speaking at the inauguration of the remodelled Subramanyanagar police station building in Bangalore’s North Police Zone, Mr Singh said the clarifications sought on the project have been received and the final clearance to the Rs 1,334 crore project will be given on Tuesday.

Alongside the airport project, the government was also making efforts to improve the condition of roads, he said. A total of Rs 135 crore has been earmarked for the development of roads, he said. Trying to calm down the industry captains who are complaining of failing infrastructure in Bangalore, Mr Singh said his government was committed to making the Metro Rail Project a reality, besides coming out with a comprehensive development plan.
