Bangalore: Stay at home today. Almost all roads leading to Bangalore's central business district will be kept vehicle-free for Sunday's controversial Thiruvalluvar statue unveiling ceremony near Ulsoor Lake. Vehicular movement at the RBI Quarters junction, MG Road, Kensington Oval road, Ulsoor road, Dickenson road, Murphy road and Swimming Pool road off Ulsoor Lake will be restricted between 6 am and 6 pm on Sunday. Security at Gangadhara Chetty road, where Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi will address a gathering after the unveiling ceremony, has been upped and vehicle entry has been banned.
