Traffic to be hit at Trinity junction

Staff Reporter
Bangalore: Motorists proceeding towards HAL Airport have been requested to avoid Trinity Junction on Mahatma Gandhi Road to avoid being stuck in a gridlock.

A Bangalore Police release said that because of the ongoing work on the Metro at Trinity Circle, vehicular movement will be slow at the junction. Hence those heading towards HAL, Airport Road, Marathhalli and Whitefield have been urged to avoid taking Mahatma Gandhi Road.

Vehicles are allowed to turn at Mayo Hall towards Commissionerate Road to reach Garuda Mall and proceed towards HAL Airport and Whitefield.

They should take left turn on Magarath Road through Hosmat Junction, India Garage Junction and ASC Junction.

Motorists coming on Cubbon Road may take a right turn at Web Junction instead of taking left towards Trinity.

Once on Mahatma Gandhi Road motorists vehicles can take left turn on Commissionerate Road and reach Magrath Road to move towards HAL Airport.

BMTC buses will continue to ply through Trinity Circle as usual, the release said.
