Flyovers for seamless ORR shortly

To ensure seamless traffic on the Outer Ring Road, the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) will construct three flyovers and one underpass at a cost of Rs144 crore.
Speaking at a function for inaugurating a slew of development works in Mahadevapura assembly constituency, BDA commissioner Siddhaiah said construction on ORR would start shortly to ensure smooth connectivity.
Others constructions include a flyover at a cost of Rs 35.33 cr in Mahadevapura, underpass in Kadubeesanahally at a cost of Rs 38.27cr, flyover in Devarabeesanahally at a cost of Rs 35.72cr and another flyover in Bellandur Junction at a cost of Rs 34.74cr.
Apart from this, work on improving the junctions near Marathahally and Outer Ring Road is under way for Rs 28.6cr. Works in Mahadevapura zone will commence in three days.
Inaugurating the works, Chief Minister BS Yeddy urappa directed BBMP and BDA to complete them within the deadline without compromising on quality. All the 28 constituencies should be given equal importance.
