The traffic police have revoked the one-way vehicle movement rule from Kripanidhi College junction to Hosur Road junction on Sarjapur Road to make it a two-way. The move will be implemented from Saturday.
As of now, Kormangala residents have had to literally go in circles to reach destinations across Sarjapur Road. Major General Pramod Kapur, a member of The Koramangala Initiative, a residents’ group fighting for easing of traffic in the area, said they were happy to have the two-way implemented on the stretch. He said: “If there is space for two-way vehicle movement, it only helps to ease congestion.’’
