No raw deal for City

Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa disagrees that Bangalore has received a raw deal in the government's agenda.
He points out that grants had been released to speed up work on Namma Metro even as widening and repair of roads had been given top priority during the last 100 days.

He says a final decision on long-pending and nagging issues like Sakrama, for regularisation of building bylaw violations, would be taken within a month.

The chief minister, who heads the Agenda for Bengaluru Infrastructure Development (ABIDe), also promises to bring about visible changes in the infrastructure of Bangalore within a year.
