According to BBMP Chief Engineer (major roads) Krishna Reddy, the actual underpass work has been completed.


The work on low-cost underpass near Cauvery theatre is almost over, except for asphalting of the approach road. BBMP will shortly throw it open for traffic.

According to BBMP Chief Engineer (major roads) Krishna Reddy, the actual underpass work has been completed. On Thursday, lighting arrangements were made and painting work taken up. The approach road to the underpass will be asphalted on Friday morning. “We are waiting for the Commissioner’s direction to throw it open for traffic,” he said. All other roads leading to the underpass, including the one leading to Bashyam Circle, have been asphalted.
