BSP rally may cause traffic snarls today

BANGALORE: Traffic is likely to be affected for a few hours on Bellary Road, Jayamahal Road, Ramana Maharshi Road and surrounding areas on Sunday in view of a convention being organised by the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) at the Palace grounds.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and the BSP supremo Mayawati and others will address the meeting scheduled to start at 11 a.m. According to a press release from Commissioner of Police Neelam Achutha Rao, vehicles coming from Bellary Road should turn left at Mehkri Circle, pass through Jayamahal Road and enter the Palace Grounds from Mavinakayi Mandi gate.

Vehicles coming from Kolar Road should pass through K.R. Puram, Old Madras Road, St. John’s Church Road, Nandidurga Road and Jayamahal Road.

Those coming from Hosur Road, Kanakapura Road and Bannerghatta Road should pass through Central Silk Board junction, Marathahalli Ring Road, Tin Factory underpass, Banasawadi Main Road, Mehkri Circle and reach the venue.

Vehicles coming from Magadi Road and Mysore Road should pass through Outer Ring Road, Tumkur Road, Goruguntepalya, BEL Circle, Hebbal flyover, Jayamahal Road and enter the venue through Mavinakayi Mandi Gate. BSP rally may cause traffic snarls today
