KSRTC to open more private ticket booking centres

BANGALORE: Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has invited applications to start more number of private booking agencies both within and outside the state.

A release from KSRTC stated that they are planning to start 60 franchises in both Bangalore rural and urban, 70 in 16 districts and 40 in Andra Pradesh, Kerala, Maharashtra, Goa and Tamil Nadu. Last date to submit the application is Nov 27 for Bangalore sector, November 28 for 16 districts and November 29 for outside the state.

Notification issued in this regard is available on KSRTC website www.ksrtc.in (link tender). Copies of notification may also be obtained from the office of the General Manager (Traffic), KSRTC, Central Office, Bangalore or from the office of the respective divisional controller, KSRTC during office hours, the release stated.
