Traffic to be hit today
Bangalore, DHNS:
Police have made elaborate security arrangements in the City on Sunday in the wake of a rally by the BJP at 10 am.


As many as 14 platoons of KSRP, 35 inspectors and 50 sub inspectors will be on duty. The procession will begin from Mahatma Gandhi statue on MG Road to Raj Bhavan where the party leaders will meet Governor C P Rameshwar Thakur. Traffic is likely to be thrown out of gear because of the rally.

Traffic will be diverted on Queen’s Road, from Mahatma Gandhi statue to CTO Circle and Raj Bhavan Road and from CTO Circle to Basaveshwara Circle. The diversion points are CTO junction, Siddalingaiah Junction, Anil Kumble Junction and BRV Junction. People have been requested to avoid MG Road, Cubbon Road, Raj Bhavan Road, Dr B R Ambedkar Veedhi, Queen’s Road, Residency Road and Infantry Road between 11 am and 2 pm.Traffic to be hit today
