Bangalore: The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) has warned of action against those who paste advertisements and posters on flyovers, grade separators and ring roads.
β€œIt has come to the notice of the BDA that may posters and advertisements are being pasted on the flyovers, underpass roads, and ring roads, with least regard for the architectural dignity of the structures, which is illegal. They not only disfigure but also catch the sight of the drivers, which may lead to many fatal accidents. Several organisations have also joined hands in defacing the structures by putting up advertising banners and painting on the concrete structures,’’ BDA has said. The BDA has issued notices to theatreowners and distributors and complaints have been lodged against them.
