Bangalore has got a brand new tabloid newspaper, 'Bangalore Mirror'. An all-colour morning daily that cuts through the clutter to give news the way readers like it — crisp, pointed, and in a language they speak. Bangalore Mirror is a paper for today's young reader who dislikes the hypocrisy and double-speak that epitomised the earlier generation.

Says Bangalore Mirror editor KR Sreenivas "We'll tell stories with a spirit of fun; we'll expose political fraud, highlight civic issues, crusade against denied justice — in short, issues that anger readers. But we'll do it all without 'gyaan' or 'fluff'."Bangalore gets brand new tabloid 'Bangalore Mirror'

I wish these tabloids also gave us short practical tutorials on learning Kannada to new Bangloreans like me from other states who wish to settle down. By practical, I mean, basic enough Kannada to talk to autorickshaw drivers, government office staff, bus conductors, and shops where the owner may not be fluent in Hindi or English.
