Vedike stops Tamil film screening

Vedike stops Tamil film screening
Deccan Herald

Traffic came to a grinding halt for almost 50 minutes in and around Nataraj theatre, in Seshadripuram on Tuesday afternoon.

Reason: Karnataka Rakshana Vedike activists staged a protest in front of Nataraj theatre, demanding that the screening of Tamil movie ‘Pokiri’ starring Vijay be stopped. They shouted slogans and declared that they would not leave the place if the screening of the movie was not stopped. The owner and the distributors decided to stop the screening of the movie immediately.

Huge cutouts were pulled down, banners and posters were not spared. Luckily, the screen was left untouched.

Sources said some of the activists, who were inside the cinema hall, started shouting when the movie began.

Later, they sat in front of the theatre. A few activists were taken into custody as a precautionary measure.

I wonder whether these people have any brain or not. How can Hogenakkal become part of karnaktaka? Why cant these people go to the border and fight with pak and china for our lost land. I feel something fundamentally is wrong with these pro kannada Animals. No common sense at all. Please see the world around you, everybody is growing so please try to grow brain wise and make your kids wise enough.
