Bangalore: Viewers of Tamil TV channels in Bangalore are a happy lot again with cable operators deciding to air Tamil channels again. The channels had been withdrawn for almost a month in the wake of the Cauvery verdict.
Cable operator Hathaway is airing all Tamil channels (Sun TV, News, Music, and Jaya TV) except Raj TV. Citi Cable has also been airing channels over the last couple of days.
“We are airing K TV, Jaya TV, Sun TV, DD-5 and Pudughai, except Sun Music and Sun News,’’ a cable operator said.
“We have been receiving hundreds of complaints. It is difficult to explain to customers,’’ another operator said. Yet another operator said customers have even threatened not to pay the monthly subscription fee.
