BANGALORE: Early arrival of winter coupled with drizzle from the clouds that have been passing from the Himalayan region are chilling the bones of Bangaloreans for the past few days.

The variation in temperature, specially during day has been noticed during this time. Though, the weathermen point that last year, same time, there was further decrease in the minimum temperature, but Bangalore is experiencing more cold this year.

“The increased moisture level in the atmosphere and strong winds are causing severe cold,” said Dr M B Rajegowda, HoD, Department of Agrometeorology, GKVK.
