Upgrade public libraries, says Mayor

Mayor Mumtaz Begum on Tuesday ordered the Bangalore Mahanagara Palike officials to upgrade the BMP libraries and ensure that the public demand for reading material is met.

She was speaking at the inauguration of a new building of the public library at Jai Maruthinagar (Ward 12). The mayor called on the library officials to see that there will be no dearth of books or journals.
