BANGALORE: Heavy rain lashed south and west Bangalore on Monday evening uprooting three trees.

Huge trees gave way on 36th cross, Jayanagar IV T Block, near T.R. Mill, Chamarajapet and 5th Cross, Siddaiah Puranik Road, Kamakshipalya.

Though the rain recorded was 6.2 mm in the city till 8.30 p.m., some areas received more amount rain . People returning from their offices were caught unawares as there was not much rain in the central, northern and eastern parts of the city.
