Where there is a will, there is a way

Where there is a will, there is a way

If you fail to plan then plan to fail. Visualising a plan and then implementing it without fail is the secret of success.
Look at New Delhi and Hyderabad. These two cities have achieved a lot in terms of getting their infrastructure ready. Sometimes I feel Karnataka is becoming the Bihar of the south. We are so slow in implementing our projects. I have been living in Bangalore for 15 years and I can say confidently that the city is slow in implementation. When it comes to will to implement, we have a long way to go. Monetary resources alone are not enough.
First of all, we should work towards forming a single-window agency. That should speed up matters. There is a management theory termed Quick Win. We should try to follow that and try to achieve short-term goals with respect to infrastructure.
Whenever I go abroad I feel two inches taller when people talk about Bangalore in glowing terms. But here, we tend to neglect the city. What we have here is IT and BT. We need to take care of these sectors and make them feel better.
It’s not the monuments of Delhi that have raised India’s status internationally. That credit goes to the IT companies in Bangalore. Let’s value that. Bangalore deserves to get special treatment. It has given the country so much.
