The Garden City gained another green spot on Monday. Bangalore Mahanagara Palike’s renovated Swimming Pool Park on 14th Main Road, Jayanagar III Block, was inaugurated by Administrative Reforms Commission Chairman M Veerappa Moily.

The park flaunts a gazebo, an artificial waterfall and fountains. Much to the delight of children, the park exhibits sculptures of various animals like horses, elephants and a giraffe. The area has been landscaped with multi-coloured flower beds to add brightness to the lush greenery.

According to the BMP, the cost of renovation of the park is estimated at Rs 41.99 lakh.
