Plans aplenty, but all on paper
Plans aplenty, but all on paper

Unmanageable growth has been hitting the city hard. Today, even though many investment proposals are coming in, we are unable to accept more due to lack of land availability and the power situation.
Development plans are aplenty, but they all lack execution. The city should get adopted or be closely monitored by the Supreme Court or high court in line with, say, New Delhi. Today, Bangaloreans are left with a Lalbagh, a Cubbon Park and a few lakes. We need to create more lung space and develop more water bodies.
We need to create a model Bangalore. We have to train people, government agents and the police. It’s tough to save the life of accident victims, due to the acute traffic chaos on our roads. We need to form a citizen’s pressure group.
