Interchange bridge done in record time

Bangalore: The promoters of BMIC project, Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprises (NICE), have taken care to complete most of the earth works wherever land is available for them.
Majority of the structures have been completed on the peripheral road. Around 60% of bitumen work is in progress and work on the remaining places is expected to be completed in the next two to three weeks. On the achievement side, an interchange bridge on Hosur Road has been completed in a record time of seven months, without halting the dense traffic even for a day. NICE claims that the state government despite the Supreme Court order on April 20 has not handed over a single acre of land to the company nor any effort has been made by it to expedite the project. “Government is not at all cooperating with the company to resolve any issues pertaining to the project,’’ NICE representative maintained.
